Your rights and responsibilities
At Hobdens, we believe in building communities, promoting a focused and respectful neighbourhood policy. We understand that sometimes, communal living can present many challenges. In your lease, there will be outlined agreements, which state your rights and responsibilities for your development.
Some of the most common agreements within leases for developments managed by Hobdens include:
- Keep your property in a good state of repair
- Access to common services provided (water, electricity etc)
- Obtain consent to keep a pet
- Not to cause noise or nuisance to your neighbours
- Not to sublet your property without consent
- Observe and comply with all development regulations (parking in designated spaces etc)
- Pay service charge on time
- Upon service charge being paid, the communal areas and machinery to be maintained
- Not to use the property for any illegal or immoral purposes
- Keep the communal areas free and clear of obstructions
- Not to carry out alterations to your property without consent
